Open House for Our New Location in Newtown
Our 3rd Location Since 1961!
Newtown Insurance Services LLC planted its roots on Route 25 in Botsford back in 1961 where it operated under the ownership of Fred Frankel and afterwards his daughter Susan Frankel.
As Susan neared retirement she looked for another local agency owner, like herself, to purchase her business. She wanted to know that the owner would hold near the same morals and values that helped her successfully run her business.
Enter Ray Manzi.
Ray, owner of Manzi Insurance in Woodbury since 2004, purchased Newtown Insurance Services LLC in 2008 and moved it to 34 Church Hill Rd in 2012; a location where the smell of fresh coffee, brewed next door at the local Starbucks, often filled the office. This move brought Newtown Insurance Services into the heart of Newtown.
The agency worked, over time, on unifying its brand and successfully transitioned the name of the agency from Newtown Insurance Services to Manzi Insurance of Newtown, to simply Manzi Insurance.
Both offices focus on community involvement, sound guidance, and building trusted relationships with our clients.
Here we are, starting our next chapter with the relocation to 14 Church Hill Rd just up the street from the last. We are excited to have completed this move and opened our doors. Our new digs are completely renovated, and we couldn’t be happier with how it came out. New plaza, new office, same great agency.

All are welcome to stop by and check out the new office for our open house on Thursday, June 15 from 9am – 4pm. First Selectman, Dan Rosenthal, will be present with us for our ribbon cutting at 9am!
